10 months

We had a great visit with the pediatrician a few weeks ago. Liam was an angel. He didn't even flinch when they pricked his finger or gave him his shot. A tough one, this kid is! He is 19 lbs (but after carrying him for a while he seems more like 40) and 29 1/4" inches tall. 25th percentile for weight, 75th for height.

The doctor has no worries about his weight as Liam is a good little eater. Favorites include turkey, cheese, grapes, bananas, and graham crackers but he also eats peas and all other vegetables willingly. Hopefully this sticks! We are past pureed foods as Liam insists on feeding himself. He's also learning to drink from a sippy cup and use a spoon. Although he doesn't actually use the spoon- it's basically a drum stick- it's good to get him used to utensils. We know when he is finished with his meal when he slyly drops his food on the floor for the dogs. He is very entertained by this and even looks over the side of his high chair for Hank and Piccolo when we are at a restaurant.

Liam loves music and we have enrolled him in a class for babies called Kindermusik. We spend the 45 minutes of class singing, dancing and playing instruments. We have learned some very sweet songs and spend a little time each day listening to the CD.

Liam is now crawling all over the place and we have had to baby proof the house (as best we can). He seems to gravitate towards lamp cords, outlets, and baskets filled with anything- dog toys and diapers are his favorites.

He now has four teeth (two on top, two on the bottom) and has moved on to a big boy carseat which makes very happy- me too, that carrier was getting way to heavy!
